SUPPORT

Real talk - most people don’t want to talk about death, but for those of us who know it well, we need to. The Dead People’s Group brings together those who have experienced a monumental loss of a parent, sibling or other immediate family member once per week. We understand each other and most importantly, we’re here to listen. We feel with you, the good and the bad and help remind each other to celebrate the little triumphs of healing that often go unnoticed alone.

COMMUNITY

Misery loves company, and that’s not a bad thing. Grieving is a cycle and the process of healing changes with each day. It can be a challenge to feel “normal” or to vocalize our feelings while we’re grieving. Sometimes, that’s easier to do within a community of people who have all experienced their own loss. Together, our individual healing, learning and wisdom is magnified.

RESOURCES

The Dead People’s Group can be a resource of peers, but we also strongly recommend seeking mental health services. We can provide personal recommendations and resources to help you find professional mental health services that suit your needs and budget. Members of our group recommend services based only on personal and positive experiences and can assist in your mental health journey, wherever you are.
